Thelma A. Kleck

Thelma A. Kleck, age 100, of Archbold, passed away Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009, at Fulton Manor in Wauseon.  

Prior to her retirement she was a self-employed business owner, operating the former Kleck's Home Bakery in Archbold, for many years.

Thelma was born in Henry Co., Ohio on Jan. 5, 1909, the daughter of the late Henry and the late Minnie (Schroeder) Dehnke. On Aug. 1, 1928, she married Allen H. Kleck, and he preceded her in death in 1978.  

She was a member of St. Martin's Lutheran Church in Archbold. She was also a member of the Fulton County Senior Center.

Surviving are children, Lois (Bob) Jones of St. Joseph, Mich., Arthur (Barb) Kleck of Libertyville, Ill., Donald (Alice) Kleck of Ridgeville Corners, Robert (Jan) Kleck of Greensboro, N.C., James (Patricia) Kleck of Jacksonville, Fla., Barbara (Ray) Froelich of Luckey; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Dolores Mahler of Rockford, Ill.  

Her immediate family numbered well over 100 members. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister Doris Winzeler, and brother Freeman Dehnke.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009 at St. Martin's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Paul Reichert, officiating. Interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery in Ridgeville Corners. 

Friends may call in the Fellowship Hall of St. Martin's Lutheran Church on Wednesday from 2 until 8 p.m., and on Thursday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service. 

The family requests that memorial contributions be given to St. Martin's Lutheran Church, Sara's Garden, or Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
