Fourth Graders Give Up Gifts To Give To Charity

Two classes of Archbold Elementary School fourth graders are giving up their traditional gift exchange, to give money to charity.
Amadea Villanueva, a fourth grader, said the teachers (JoAnn Short and Alissa Stockburger) “got together and asked if we wanted a gift exchange, or to give money to charity.”

Ex-Superintendent To Head Middle School
Kenneth L. Jones, a former superintendent of the Evergreen and Ayersville school districts, has been named interim principal at Archbold Middle School.
He will take over from Mike Pressler, whose retirement takes effect Jan. 31, 2010.
