Bacon Named DC Homecoming Attendant

Butchering Day
      Traditionally, Butchering Day is the one of the last events of the Sauder Village season. A hog is butchered, showing guests how meat goes from on the hoof to on the table. Volunteers were at the Village, Saturday, Oct. 24, to help with the event.

     Jane Murbach Juska, AHS 51, now of Berkley, Calif., telephoned the Archbold Buckeye Tuesday afternoon to subscribe to her hometown newspaper. She is lonesome for the quiet little village along the former NYC Railroad. Jane said she is enjoying good health and said the publishing business is diffi- cult right now.

Couple Marries In Goshen
     Emily Stuckey and James Weber were married Aug. 8, 2009, at Assembly Mennonite Church, Goshen, Ind. An outdoor reception at the Goshen College cabin followed the ceremony. Emily is the daughter of Randy and Karen Stuckey, West Unity. James is the son of Nelson and Grace Weber, Shillington, Pa. The couple lives in Denver, Colo. Paid Announcement
