Man Says He Was Attacked
      Maurice Jones, Archbold, told police he and another man scuffled near the intersection of South Defiance and East Beech streets. The report on the incident states Jones was walking to work on the sidewalk on the east side of South Defiance St. about 5:58 pm, Wednesday, Oct. 21, when a man approached him “and acted like he wanted to fight him for some reason.”

Three Sentenced
      Three men appeared in Fulton County Common Pleas Court, Friday, Oct. 23, and were sentenced. Sentenced were: •Charles B. Seel, 45, Swanton; previously pleaded guilty to domestic violence and resisting arrest; on or about May 28 to June 9, caused harm to a family or household member and resisted arrest; sentenced to one year in prison.

Two Juveniles Charged In Connection With Theft
      Two Archbold boys, ages 14 and 15, have been charged in connection with theft in Fulton County Juvenile Court. The Archbold police report on the Tuesday, Oct. 20 incident states the pair admitted to stealing candy totaling $9 in value from the Archbold Circle K store.

      James Ramey, 19, Archbold, faces multiple charges in Defiance Municipal Court after leading an Ohio State Highway Patrol sergeant on a highspeed chase that at times hit 120 miles per hour.
