DISTRICT TOURNAMENT UPDATES

Div. III Girls Volleyball: ARCHBOLD DEF. PARKWAY 22-25, 25-12, 25-19, 25-15, TO WIN THE DIV. III DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP AT NAPOLEON, SATURDAY, OCT. 31.

The Streaks (26-0) play Otsego, Wednesday, Nov. 4, 6 p.m. in a regional semifinal at Liberty-Benton High School. The Knights defeated Lakota 25-16, 25-21, 25-22 to win the Perrysburg district on Saturday night.

Huron plays Elgin, the winner of the Pickerington district, in the other regional semifinal, Wednesday, 7:30 pm. Huron defeated Margaretta 25-10, 25-23, 25-19 in the district final at Willard, Saturday, Oct. 31. Elgin defeated Bishop Ready 25-19, 28-26, 19-25, 25-20, in the district final at Pickerington, Saturday, Oct. 31.

The regional final is Saturday, Nov. 7, 2 p.m., at Liberty-Benton.

Directions to Liberty-Benton: Take SR 6 to I 75 South to FIndlay. Take the OH-12, exit 157, toward Findlay/Columbus Grove. Turn RIGHT onto W. Main Cross St./OH 12. Continue to follow OH 12. Turn LEFT onto Co Rd. 9. The school will be on the right. (directions according to Mapquest). Estimated travel time: 1:22, 69 miles.

Div. III Volleyball District Semifinal: Archbold (25-0) def. Fort Recovery 25-23, 25-22, 18-25, 25-19, Wednesday, Oct. 28. 

Div. II Girls Soccer: Wauseon def. Archbold 2-0, Tuesday, Oct. 27.

Div. IV Volleyball: Antwerp def. Pettisville 25-21, 25-12, 25-18, Tuesday, Oct. 27.–Updated 10.31, 9 pm
