The Streaks defeated Evergreen 25-20, 25-21, 25-23 to finish their league season undefeated at 8-0 and their regular season with a perfect 22-0 record.
AHS came back from an 18-10 deficit in the third game to tie the score at 21. Archbold took a 23-22 lead on a Hailey Galvan kill, and went to match point, 24-22, on a Sarah Wyse ace.
Evergreen climbed back to 24-23 when Cassie Babcock's spike was blocked into the net and Archbold was unable to keep the ball alive.
The game ended on an Evergreen error.
AHS continues its dream season at the Division III sectional tournament, Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The Streaks, seeded number one, play Swanton at 6:15 pm in a sectional semifinal at AHS. The winner plays Liberty Center in a sectional final on Saturday, Oct. 24.–Posted 10.15, 9:07 pm
