Application forms for the 2009 Archbold Citizen of the Year are available.

In 1962, the Lions Club named Wm. Flory, a local minister, the first Citizen of the Year. Since then, seven women and 39 men have been honored. There was no award in 1989.

The 2009 banquet and award, sponsored jointly by Archbold Lions Club and Archbold Chamber of Commerce, is Thursday, Nov. 5, in Founders Hall, Sauder Village.
