7:29 pm: Unwanted subject, East Gardens, advised to stay away.
9:09 pm: Loud music complaint, advised subject to turn it down.
11:30 pm: Disabled vehicle, 1200 block Stryker St.
Aug. 31
6:52 am: Disabled vehicle, 100 block S. Clyde's Way, driver called for assistance.
7:50 am: Report of moving vehicle with small child standing in back seat; child was in safety seat.
3 pm: Subject attempted to fill fraudulent prescription, Pamida pharmacy.
3:37 pm: A car driven by Edward E. Miller, 42, Archbold, was stopped in traffic in the northbound lane of S. Defiance Street, south of Short-Buehrer Rd. A sport utility driven by Cathy J. Selgo, 50, Archbold, was stopped behind Miller. A car driven by Courtney J. Sommers, Archbold, was traveling north on S. Defiance St. Sommers and Selgo collided, causing a collision with the Miller auto. Sommers was taken by Archbold Rescue to Archbold Hospital, where she was treated and released. Sommers was cited failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
Sept. 1
7:45 am: Found tennis racket in roadway, 700 block S. Defiance St., placed in lost & found.
3:29 pm: A car owned by Jenale M. Peck, Archbold, was parked at The Savvy Dog. A sport-utility vehicle driven by Laure M. Apt, 36, Archbold, was backing out of a parking space. They collided.
Sept. 2
11:45 am: A sport-utility vehicle driven by Lana K. Short, 66, Archbold, was traveling east on Stryker St. and was stopped in the right turn lane, waiting to turn south onto N. Defiance St. Edward D. Auchard, 89, Bryan, was driving a car east on Stryker St., and stopped behind Short. Auchard drove forward and the two collided. Auchard was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
1:32 pm: A car driven by Kaytlyn C. Flory, 20, Wauseon, was traveling north on S. Defiance St., and was stopped in traffic. Anna R. Ridley, 18, Ridgeville Corners, was traveling north behind the Flory auto. The two collided. Ridley was cited for failure to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
5:35 pm: Possible fireworks, 300 block South St., unfounded.
Sept. 3
8:15 am: Report of cruelty to animals.
5:04 pm: Keys found in roadway, 400 block Clover Ln.
7:40 pm: Removed brush from roadway, 900 block Stryker St.
6 pm: A car owned by Berneice Schock, Defiance, was parked near Marco's Pizza. Sometime an unknown vehicle backed into the parked auto.
Note: During the preceding week, Archbold police officers gave verbal warnings for driving with headlight out, and driving left of center.
