Kathryn Schmidt and Luke Graf Kathryn Schmidt, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Luke Graf, Fort Wayne, Ind., announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Jack and Roberta Schmidt, Fort Wayne, Ind. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish and international studies from Hope College, Holland, Mich. She works at Wycliffe Bible Translators, Fort Wayne.

Her fiancé is the son of Ned and Barb Graf, Fort Wayne, Ind., and formerly of Archbold. He is an Archbold High School graduate. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from Huntington (Ind.) College. He works at Hiner Transport, Huntington.

The couple will exchange wedding vows, Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Broadway Christian Church, Fort Wayne.
