Five Generations Of Shorts
     Five generations of the Short family gathered Saturday, July 25, in West Unity, one day before a family reunion. Standing: Evelyn's granddaughter, Denise (Rudnicki) King, Chicago, Ill.; Evelyn's son, Larry (Short) Rudnicki, Arvada, Colo.; Evelyn's great-grandson, Joshua Houghton, Lakewood, Colo. Evelyn is the daughter of Elmer Short and niece of Joe L. Short, former owner of Short Funeral Home, Archbold. Amy Waidelich Graduates From Officer Candidate School In Ga.
      Amy L. Waidelich, AHS '02, has graduated from Officer Candidate School (OCS) at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga., and was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Waidelich, daughter of Toby and Rhonda Hines, Archbold, is a transportation officer with less than one year of military service.

Snyders Celebrate 50th Anniversary
      Carl and Regina (Roehrs) Snyder, Defiance, were married by candlelight on Aug. 8, 1959, in St. John's Lutheran Church, Defiance, by Rev. A.R. Gallert. They are the parents of two children, Doug (Betsy) Snyder, Chardon, and Gretchen (Tom) Schmitz, Ottawa. The have five grandchildren.
