Cyclists Find Connection To Archbold In N.D.
It's A Small World, After All
      Disney Productions has it right when it says, "It's a Small, Small World!" Bea Briggs and Marlyn Krueger discovered this while biking through North Dakota recently. In the tiny town of Binford, ND, population 185, they were stunned to find an Archbold connection.

Proposed Tax Hike Feedback Generally Positive
      Joe Short, Fulton County commissioner, said he has generally received positive feedback in connection with a proposal to hike the Fulton County sales tax. "Nobody wants to pay more tax, but people understand" the need for additional revenue, he said.

Connect Lafayette Street To Rd. 24 During 2010 Construction Season
      Long a dream of many, the extension of Lafayette Street from its western end near the Archbold Evangelical Church to Co. Rd. 24 is set for the 2010 construction season. Dennis Howell, Archbold village administrator, said the extension is one of three major street projects planned for 2010.

Phil Ennen, president and chief executive officer of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, said an additional "franchise fee" built into the 2009-11 state budget will cost CHWC about half a million dollars.
