Courtney Day, sophomore left fielder, was named to the second team. She led the Streaks with a .474 batting average and in runs batted in.

Andrea Allan received an honorable mention. She led AHS with four home runs and drove in 27 runs while hitting .397.

All-District

Kern, Day, and Allan also were named First Team-All Northwest District.

Morgan Ducey and Alyssa Schaub were named Second Team All-District.

Frank was named Coach of the Year.

The Northwest district consists of 25 Div. III schools.

"I am very proud of the team, and for three of our players to receive all-state honors is fantastic," said Frank.

"We've never had more than one player receive mention in my previous seven years, and to get three isn't something I expected.

"Lauren is also the first player to receive first team honors while I have been coaching.

"They were very deserving of these honors. This also shows other coaches, who elect the all state teams, respect the program here at Archbold."
