Library Board Could Eye Additional Cuts
      Despite the recent passage of an addition to the Archbold Community Library property tax levy, the library budget could be in line for additional cuts. Joyce Klingelsmith, library director, told the sad news to board members at its Wednesday, May 13 meeting.

Stuckey Is May Resident Of The Month At Fairlawn
      Rutheda Stuckey is the May Resident of the Month at Fairlawn Haven, Archbold. She was born Feb. 22, 1924, to Albert & Priscilla Grieser. She had five siblings; all are deceased. Rutheda graduated from Pettisville High School in 1942. Soon after, she and a group of young people went by train with their pastor, C.F. Derstein, to Canada to attend a six-week Bible School.

      U-14 Girls The U14 Blue Streak girls soccer team continued traveled to Northwood, Tuesday, May 5. In a very physical game, Northwood scored with 30 seconds left in the first half to take a 1-0. Archbold had many shots on goal but were unable to convert and lost 2-0.
