Police Receive Reports Of Trespassing, Mischief

Archbold police received reports of trespassing and criminal mischief last week.

Lori zumFelde, 136 Garden Dr., told police sometime between 10:30 am and 8:30 pm, Saturday, May 2, someone tampered with a window at her residence and cut a window screen.

zumFelde told officers it did not appear that the residence had been entered, and nothing was disturbed.

Cheryl Sears, 504 S. Defi- ance St., told officers sometime between 8 am and 5:15 pm, Thursday, April 30, someone entered her camper, which was parked behind her residence.

Martin Schmidt, Archbold police chief, said the subject left a cellular telephone behind. Officers were able to trace the phone back to a juvenile.

Schmidt said officers spoke with both the juvenile and the subject's parents.
