Thefts Reported

Several thefts were reported to the Archbold Police Department last week, but there is no obvious connection between them.

Jill R. Campbell, rural Archbold, told police a digital music player owned by her son, Mitchell, 16, was stolen from his book bag, while the bag was in his locker at Archbold High School.

It is believed the unit was taken during the school day, from 8:15 am to 3 pm. It is valued at $290.

Nathon W. Meyer, 204 Park St., reported a go-kart, valued at $500, was stolen from a storage shed at the residence. A thief or thieves forced their way into the shed. The theft is believed to have taken place sometime during the nighttime hours of Sunday and Monday, April 26-27.

Alisha Price, 104 South St., told police an electric scooter, worth $70, was taken from her garage sometime between Saturday, April 25 and Saturday, May 2.
