Carissa Diller was the February Kid of the Month at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold.

She joined the Kids That Care program in September 2008. The daughter of Jared and Lisa, Archbold, she visits Miriam Yoder, a Fairlawn resident. They visit and play games together.

Carissa is 11 years old and in the sixth grade at Archbold Middle School. She has an older sister, Grace, and two younger brothers, Bradley and Steven.

Carissa said she likes being with other kids and older people. She also loves to read, and her favorite school subject is history.

Madeline Schrickel is the March Kid of the Month.

This is her second year in the program. She is the daughter of Mike and Bridget, and is a fifth grader at Archbold.

She enjoys singing, swimming, friends, and listening to music.

Madi enjoys visiting her resident, Marian Nafziger, every Monday. They read together and play games. Madi likes to do things to make others happy.
