Ronald L. Rupp

Ronald L. Rupp, age 63 years, of Ft. Myers Beach, Fla., passed away Saturday morning, Oct. 4, 2008, at Stein Hospice Care Center at Sandusky, following a brief illness with cancer.

He was born Nov. 16, 1944, at Wauseon, the son of Dale F. and Veronica (Rice) Rupp, and married Elaine Kauffman on June 27, 1964.

He was a 1962 graduate of Archbold High School and received his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Bluffton College in 1967.

He was an executive for Marathon Oil Co. for 33 years, and after retirement was a volunteer for SCORE in Florida, and was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bonita Springs, Fla.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine; one son, Tim (Katie) Rupp of Centerville; one daughter, Kim (John) Moore of Nappanee, Ind.; four grandchildren; his mother, Veronica Rupp of Archbold; two brothers, Larry (Linda) Rupp of Matthews, N.C., and Doug (Nancy) Rupp of Stryker.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A Memorial Service will be held today, Wednesday, at 11 a.m. at St. John's Christian Church in Archbold with Pastors Erich Christman and Dave Brown offi- ciating. Interment will precede in the Pettisville Cemetery.

Short Funeral Home in Archbold was in charge of the arrangements.

The family suggests that memorials be given to Stein Hospice are Center or Kajiado Childrens Home c/o St. John's Christian Church.
