Rupps Celebrate 50th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Gene Rupp

Gene and Nancy (Rowley) Rupp were married on July 26, 1958, in the First Alliance Church of Toledo with William Bryan and H.E. Bertsche the offi ciating pastors.

They met at Taylor University, Upland, Ind., where both are graduates. Gene retired after 30 years in public education, 20 as Archbold High School principal and 14 years as vice president of Taylor University. Nancy retired after 27 years of teaching music and physical education at Archbold and Pettisville schools.

They have two sons, Todd (Rochelle), Dublin, and Brad (Julia), Archbold. They have five grandchildren.

The couple celebrated with a family dinner.
