School Board Okays Personnel Actions Monday

Members of the Archbold Area School Board approved several personnel actions during the Monday night, July 21, meeting.

The board accepted the resignation of Kelly Kruse as a special education aide for the 2008- 09 school year.

David Deskins, district superintendent, said Kruse has been hired by the district for a classroom teaching post, but district procedures require that she offi cially resign from her aide post before taking the new job.

The board voted to extend the contract of Tim Meister, Archbold High School principal, for three years. Meister first joined the school district in 2006.

A supplemental contract was approved for Joe Furko as assistant high school football coach for the 2008 season.

The board also approved the classified substitute list.
