Corrected Salary Figures Provided For Principals

Pay hikes for Pettisville Local School District principals Michael Lane and Jason Waldvogel were under 5%, new figures provided by Chris Lee, district treasurer show.

Incorrect information provided to this newspaper initially showed raises of nearly 10%.

Based on corrected numbers, Lane's salary for the 2008-09 school year will be $81,884, up $3,608, or about 4.61%, from the previous year's salary of $78,276.

Waldvogel will receive a $3,376 pay increase, from $71,174 in 2007-08 to $74,550 in 2008-09. In percentage terms, Waldvogel gets a 4.74% wage increase.
