Tara Short, Archbold, and Nathaniel Meyer, Archbold, announce their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late Larry and Suzette Short. A 1998 Archbold High School graduate, she earned a bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation from Bluffton University in 2002. She is the Fulton County Special Olympics Coordinator for the Fulton County Board of MRDD.

Her fiancé is the son of Chris and Melinda Emmons, Fayette, and Robert Meyer, Archbold. A 1997 AHS graduate, he works for Miller Bros. Construction.

The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, June 14, at Zion Mennonite Church, Archbold.
