Girls Under-11 Team

The Girls U-11 team traveled to play Anthony Wayne United White, Sunday, April 28. The Blue Streaks came out strong, and Jensyn Garrow scored on a pass from Alexa Coressel. Olivia Deskins was guest playing, and she scored. On defense, Meridith Short and Lauren Stuckey kep  AW United away from the Archbold half of the field, and Ashley Short only had to make a few saves as goalie.

In midfield, Bailey Grieser beat AW to the ball, and repeatedly got the ball up to her offense. Garrow and Coressel each scored another goal with Mara Beck giving assist in the first half.

In the second half, M. Short, in goal, made a save when AW United tried to sneak down the field. Coressel made a final goal, then switched into the goalie position, where she made a save for the 5-0 victory.

The Blue Streaks play at Woodland Park, Saturday, May 3, 2:30 p.m.
