Pettisville Beats Stryker, Falls To Archbold Twice

The Pettisville baseball team traveled to Stryker, Monday, April 14 and recorded a 7-1 victory in their first Buckeye Border Conference game of the season.

Quinn Nofziger picked up the win, giving one run on one hit, striking out nine, and walking four in seven innings.

The Birds had 10 hits. Josh Bruner was 2-4; Nofziger, 2-2 with a double; Clay Norris, 1-3 with a double and 2 runs batted in; Andy Switzer, 2-3 with a double and 1 RBI; and Aaron Rupp, 1-3 and 2 RBIs.

The Birds played Archbold twice in two days, falling 6-4, Thursday, April 17 and 19-8, Friday, April 18. Complete details are in the Archbold baseball article.
