Friendship Days Quilt

From left, Melda Richer, Donna Smith, and Karen Nafziger work on the 2008 Pettisville Friendship Days quilt, to be sold during Pettisville Friendship Days, Friday through Sunday, June 27-29. A total of 56 quilters from Pettisville completed the queensize, 96 by 114 inches, quilt. The work took about 420 hours and used 625 yards of thread. Nafziger and Char Roth, 2008 Friendship Days quilt chairmen, chose the pattern, Caramel Latte. It's pieced in green-patterned fabrics and beiges, with red, brown, and black accents.
