Orville Edwin Richer
      Orville Edwin Richer passed from this life in Mesa, Ariz., on April 15, 2008 at the age of 88. A memorial service was held at North Clinton on Sunday, April 20. Orville was born in Wauseon on Dec. 26, 1919, the son of Samuel S. and Lucinda (Aeschliman) Richer.

      Duane L. Layman, 91, of Archbold, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 19, 2008 at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold. Prior to his retirement in 1982 he had worked at the former La- Choy Food Products in Archbold. He had also worked at the former New York Boat Oar Company in Archbold.
