JV Baseball Drops Two

The Archbold junior varsity baseball team lost a pair of games last week to drop their record to 1-2.

The Blue Streaks lost 9-5 in eight innings to Edgerton on Monday, April 7. Corey Wyse collected two hits and also pitched three scoreless innings.

Bobby Rodriguez, Trey Westrick, and Ben Miller also pitched for Archbold.

Fairview broke a tie at 6 with two runs in the top of the seventh inning to nip the Streaks 8-6, Tuesday, April 8. Miller had two of Archbold's six hits.

Shem Neuenschwander was the victim of some shaky defense as he pitched four innings, allowing four runs, but none of them were earned. Aaron Wyse and Westrick also pitched in relief.
