AHS Boys Tennis Wins First Match Of Season
      The Archbold boys tennis team won its first match with a 3-2 victory at Sylvania Northview, Monday, April 7. The Streaks hosted Bowling Green, Tuesday, April 8 and lost 4-1 to the Bobcats. Archbold (1-3) saw matches with Ayersville and Springfield cancelled due to weather.

JV Baseball Drops Two
      The Archbold junior varsity baseball team lost a pair of games last week to drop their record to 1-2. The Blue Streaks lost 9-5 in eight innings to Edgerton on Monday, April 7. Corey Wyse collected two hits and also pitched three scoreless innings.

      The Archbold baseball team split their contests last week for a 2-1 record after two weeks. The Blue Streaks hosted North Central, Monday, April 7 and defeated the Eagles 16-6. Archbold traveled to Fairview, Tuesday, April 8 and suffered an 8-0 loss.

Pettisville Softball Wins First Game Of Season
      The Pettisville softball team (1-3) took a 5-4 lead in the fifth inning and scored an insurance run in the seventh to win 6-4 at Swanton, Tuesday, April 8. The Bulldogs led 1-0 after one. The Birds tied the score in the third. Both teams scored individual runs in the fourth for a tie at 2.

     Kelly Ducey, Archbold Middle School teacher, runs onto the floor for the student-teacher dodgeball game, Friday, April 11 at the school. Pettisville Track Teams Win Tri-Meet

      The Pettisville track teams traveled to Pioneer for a trimeet with North Central and Fayette, Tuesday, April 8. The boys won with 64 points. Fayette and NC scored 54 and 44, respectively. The girls also won with a score of 87. NC and Fayette had scores of 48 and 36, respectively.
