      An Archbold man has apparently been the victim of a fake check scam, according to Archbold Police. David Martin, 51, Fox Chase, told police he received a check for $3,350. He took the check to a bank and cashed it on Tuesday, March 18.

Vehicles Damaged In Village Recently
      Two vehicles were vandalized in the village recently, Archbold Police reports indicate. Gloria Wagner, 812 West St., told police on Monday, March 31, her auto was scratched on the passenger side. Damage was done sometime between 12:30 pm and 4 pm Saturday, March 29.

Grass Fire Causes Minimal Damage At Sauder Village
      Andy Brodbeck, Archbold Fire Department chief, said a grass fire rekindled, causing minimal damage to a small log cabin used for storage at Sauder Village, Monday, April 7. Firefighters responded about 3:24 pm to a report of a structure fire at the village.
