Anna Rose Miller

Anna Rose Miller, 82, of Wauseon, passed away Friday, April 4, 2008 at Hillside Country Living near Bryan.

Prior to her retirement she was a bookkeeper for Leichty Farm Equipment in Archbold.

Upon graduation from Pettisville High School she worked at the former Detwiler Hospital in Wauseon as a nurse's aide and a surgical aide for 7 1/2 years. Mrs. Miller was also a lifelong homemaker.

Mrs. Miller was born in Archbold on July 2, 1925, the daughter of the late Simon and the late Mary (Gearig) Lauber. On Nov. 17, 1947 she married Orrin Miller, and he preceded her in death in 1977.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the former Evangelical Mennonite Church in Wauseon and a volunteer at the Fulton County Health Center and the Fulton County Senior Center.

Surviving are three daughters, Stephanie (Jerry) Huber of Mt. Dora, Fla., Leslie (Dale) Stamm of West Unity, Kathy (Dale) Creager of Leipsic; and son Brad Miller of Troy. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 11 greatgrandchildren. Preceding her in death besides her husband was brother Clifford Lauber.

A memorial service was held at Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Pastor James Creager officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alzheimer's Research Foundation; 1236 Ginger Crescent, Virginia Beach, Va. 23453.
