School Administrators Here Get Pay Raises Up To 2.8%
      Administrators in the Archbold Area School District got raises ranging from 1.75% to 2.86% for school years 2007-08 and 2008-09. Archbold Area School Board members approved the raises at the Monday night, March 17 meeting, following a 2 1/2-hour executive session.

$500 To Change A Light Bulb? County Commissioners Say No
      The Fulton County Commissioners won't pay a $500 bill presented to them for changing a standard, common light bulb inside the Burlington-Elmira sewer system pump station. "We're not paying it. It was basically a misunderstanding," Joe Short, Fulton County commissioner, said.

Police To Crack Down On Stop Bar Violations, Particularly Downtown
      Archbold Village Council asked the Archbold Police Department to begin cracking down on drivers who ignore the stop bars at intersections. Particularly, council singled out the North Defiance Street intersections of Holland and Stryker streets.
