Dan Borcherdt, a 2005 AHS graduate and son of Bob and Judy Borcherdt, scored 14 points and had five assists in Mount Vernon Nazarene University's 84-66 American Mideast Conference South Division road vic- tory at Wilberforce University, Saturday, Feb. 2.

The AHS grad scored six points and grabbed a careerhigh six rebounds in the Cougars' 86-74 loss to Cedarville University, Tuesday, Feb. 5.

Borcherdt tossed in 11 points and had five assists in MVNU's 94-54 non-conference victory over Houghton (N.Y.) College, Thursday, Feb. 7.

He scored 11 points in the Cougars' 87-48 victory at Shawnee State University, Saturday, Feb. 9.

MVNU is 16-5, 6-4 AMC South.

The Cougars are ranked third in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Division II poll.
