Mini-Pickup Truck Hits Utility Pole; Other Area Auto Accidents Reported Troy L. Evers, 44, Archbold, was involved in a single-vehicle crash about 7 am Friday, Feb. 1, when the mini-pickup truck he was driving went out of control. The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Evers was driving north on St. Rt. 66, when the pickup went out of control on the snow- and icecovered roads. The vehicle went off the east side of the road and struck a utility pole. - - - Kimberly A. Gunther-Karcsak, 34, rural Fayette, was treated and released at Fulton County Health Center after her car crashed into a creek on Co. Rd. L about 11:20 pm Monday, Jan. 28. The FCSD report states Gunther Karcsak was traveling east on Co. Rd. L, when she swerved to avoid a deer cross- ing the road. The auto went out of control, went off the side of the road, and into a ditch. She was transported to FCHC by private vehicle. - - - Heather J. Carr, 28, Wauseon, was driving a sport-utility vehicle south on Co. Rd. 24 about 1:09 am Sunday, Feb. 3, when the vehicle struck a deer. The FCSD report states the accident occurred about fourtenths of a mile south of Co. Rd. F. Charlene Kay Esquivel, 36, Archbold, was a passenger in the auto. - - - Tracy Leigh Langwell, 27, Swanton, was driving a minivan west on US20A about 11:13 am Wednesday, Jan. 30, when her vehicle was struck in the windshield. The FCSD report states Langwell was following an unknown semi, when the semi lost something which struck the windshield. The mishap occurred about two-tenths of a mile east of Co. Rd. 20. |
