Fifth Grade Team Wins Tournament

An Archbold fifth grade boys basketball team won the Defiance Winter Basketball Shoot-Out Tournament, Sunday, Jan. 27, winning all four games. Archbold defeated Defiance 33-14, Saturday, Jan. 26. In their first game on Sunday, they pulled in a 27-24 win over Ottawa-Glandorf, then defeated a tough Napoleon team 35-27. The final put them against another Defiance team, whom they defeated 30-24.
