A son, Derek Ryan, was born to Mike and Sue Storrer, Grand Rapids, Mich., Friday, Jan. 25, 2008 at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Mich. He weighed 6 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. He has a brother, Nicholas. Grandparents are Joan and Milt Boesler, Commerce Twp, Mich., and Sandy and Gary Storrer, Grand Rapids, Mich. Great-grandfather is Kenny Schang, Archbold.

A son, Quinn David Ripke was born Jan. 23, 2008, to Ryan and Sarah Ripke, Pettisville, in Fulton County Health Center, Wauseon. He weighed 8 pounds 1.5 ounces and was 22 inches long. He has a brother Joey, who is 2 years old. Grandparents are Dave and Marilynn Ripke, Pettisville; Jim and Nancy Fox, Stryker. Great-grandfathers are Charles Ripke, Defiance and Russell Bowditch, Logansport, Ind.
