Area Accidents Reported

Andrea K. Siebert, 17, Hamler, crashed her car about 5:57 pm Sunday, Jan. 20, avoiding another vehicle, a Fulton County Sheriff Department report states.

The report states Siebert was driving her car north on Co. Rd. 20 while a blue pickup truck with white trim, was traveling south. The report states the pickup, driven by an unknown male subject, crossed the centerline while negotiating an S-curve. Siebert drove her car off the right side of the road to avoid a collision.

She and passenger Joshua Dwayne Haskins-Beard, 20, Swanton were not injured.

- - - An unknown semi truck struck mailboxes along St. Rt. 2, near the intersection of Gaslight Drive about 4:30 pm Tuesday, Jan. 15, an FCSD report states.

Lori L. Kern, 52, Fayette, was driving a car north on St. Rt. 66 about 6:45 pm Wednesday, Jan. 16, when her auto struck a deer.

The FCSD report states the crash occurred about a tenth of a mile north of Co. Rd. L.

Ryan P. Viers, 24, Stryker, was driving a car west on St. Rt. 2 about 10:07 pm Tuesday, Jan. 15, when his car struck a deer about six-tenths of a mile west of Co Rd. 26.
