Archbold 7th Grade Girls Basketball

Archbold defeated Fayette 26-19, Tuesday, Jan. 15. At the end of the first quarter the score was tied at 8. Archbold outscored the Eagles 18-11 over the next three quarters to seal the victory.

Scoring: Taylor Coressel, 6 points, 2 assists, 1 steal; Darian Oberlin, 6 points, 2 assists; McKenzie Yoder, 6 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists; Tatum Smith, 4 points, 2 assists, 2 steals; Alora Drewes, 2 points, 2 steals; Hanna Allison, 2 points.

Archbold defeated Montpelier 28-4, Thursday, Jan. 17. "We played a good game," said Barb Figgins, coach. "We had a good night rebounding, collected a team total 32, and also had 16 steals. It was a great team victory."

Scoring: Madison Short, 6 points; Allison, 5/6 from the foul line for 5 points, 10 rebounds; Ella Weaver, 5 points, 5 rebounds, 4 steals, 2 assists; Oberlin, 4 points, 3 steals; Coressel, 3 points, 2 steals; Amanda Lovejoy, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal; Tressa Parsley, 2 points, 2 rebounds, 1 steal; Drewes, 1 points, 4 rebounds.
