Dan Borcherdt, a 2005 AHS graduate and son of Bob and Judy Borcherdt, scored seven points in Mount Vernon Nazarene University's 81-67 conference loss to the University of Rio Grande, Tuesday, Jan. 22.

The AHS grad scored nine points and dished out seven assists in the Cougars' 82-64 conference victory over Urbana University, Saturday, Jan. 26.

MVNU is 16-3, 4-2 15-2, 3-1 in the American Mideast Conference South Division.

The Cougars are ranked fifth in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' Division II poll.
