Business Reports Bogus Checks In Circulation

Someone, somewhere, has created forged checks, using Arrow Tru-Line's name, and is attempting to circulate them.

Martin Schmidt, Archbold Police chief, said the checks appear to be drawn on the company's account, but are forgeries. They are being circulated in states outside Ohio.

So far, Schmidt said the company has not lost money to the bogus checks.

The perpetrators could be anywhere, Schmidt said; they could be in Archbold, or another state.

Police are investigating.
