Want To Vote March 4? Registration Deadline Near

Those who are not registered to vote, and wish to vote in the March 4 primary election, have until Monday, Feb. 4 to do so.

Brett Kolb, director of the Fulton County Board of Elections, said the board's office in Wauseon will stay open until 8 pm to register those who wish to vote.

Others places where people can register include their local library, school, the county treasurer office, and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles.

A person must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age on or before the day of the election, and must provide either the last four digits of their social security number or a driver license number. They must have lived at their current address for 30 days, Kolb said.

Once at the polls, a person must identify themselves with photo identification such as a valid driver license. Those who don't have photo identification can bring a utility bill that shows the current address, Kolb said.
