Goering Sets AHS Scoring Record

Gene Goering, left, breaks Archbold's all-time boys basketball scoring record with two foul shots, Saturday, Jan. 19 at Ottawa- Glandorf. Needing one point to tie Dan Borcherdt's record of 1,422 career points, Goering made two foul shots at 5:15 in the first quarter to break the record. He finished with 25 points, giving him 1,446 career points with five regular-season games remaining.
