Village Council Approves Appointments, Committees

There was only one change in mayoral appointments for 2008, Jim Wyse, Archbold mayor, told council members at the Monday night, Jan. 21 meeting.

After 14 years of service, Kathy Beck decided to step down from the Archbold Park Board. Wyse appointed Keith Radabaugh to fill the term that expires in 2011.

Council approved the appointments during the Monday meeting.

Wyse said Phil Grieser has agreed to serve another term on the board of zoning appeals, with a five-year term ending in 2012. Doug Rupp agreed to continue serving on the planning commission, with a three-year term ending in 2010.

Other appointments are

Park Board, four-year terms ending: Kevin Morton, 2008; Vaughn Bentz, 2008; Jan Schroeder, 2009; Stu Schnitkey, 2010; Radabaugh, 2011.

Board of Zoning Appeals, five-year terms: Tim Smith, 2008; Tim Ziegler, 2009; Brad Roth, 2010; Rich Winzeler, 2011; Grieser, 2012.

Planning Commission, three-year terms: Ed Leininger, councilman, annual appointment; Wyse, 2008; Denny Meyer, 2008; Linda Ross, 2009; Rupp, 2010.
