"We struggled offensively tonight after having a long holiday break, we couldn't sustain any flow in the game," said Brian Ziegler, coach. Kammeyer led the Streaks with 8 points and 10 rebounds. Nate Rodriguez added 7; Reisser and Lucas chipped in with 6 each.

Archbold hosted Defiance, Monday, Jan. 7 and avenged last year's overtime loss with a 40-22 victory. The Streaks led 9-6 after one as Gerken and Kammeyer combined for all 9 points. Archbold took a 19-14 lead to the locker room.

The third quarter proved to be the difference as the Streaks gave a strong defensive performance and shut out the Bulldogs 9-0 to open a 28-14 lead. The Streaks had a 12-8 advantage in the fourth for the victory. Kammeyer, Wyse, Hayden Stamm, Travis Pennington, Arrin Short, and Gerken all scored in the quarter.

"This was a nice win over a good team. I thought it was one of our better defensive games and we rebounded really well," said Brian Ziegler, coach. Leading the way was Kammeyer with 17 points, 13 rebounds.

Patrick Henry came to town, Thursday, Jan. 10. The Streaks struggled through three quarters and were down by two. Picking up the defensive pressure, Archbold outscored the Patriots 17-2 in the fourth to post a 38-25 win.

"We have to learn to play the way we did in the fourth the entire game. Once we can do that, we will be a pretty good team," said Ben Gericke, coach. Dietrich led the way with 11. Wyse and Frank combined to score 14.
