Auto Accident Injures One

Megan T. Mikesell, 18, Stryker, has been discharged from the Fulton County Health Center, following a one-car accident on St. Rt. 66 about 9:33 pm Saturday, Jan. 5.

The Fulton County Sheriff Department report states Mikesell was driving a car north on the highway, when, about seven tenths of a mile north of Co. Rd. E, her vehicle crossed the center line, drove off the left side of the road, and continued north along a fence line.

The driver side then struck a utility pole. The vehicle bounced off the pole before coming to rest.

Archbold Rescue responded to the crash scene and transported Mikesell; Deputies issued Mikesell a citation for failure to control.

Tia Marie Robertson, 26, Okemos, Mich., was involved in a crash at the intersection of US20A and Co. Rd. 24 about 9:22 pm Sunday, Jan. 6.

The FCSD report states Robertson was driving a car south on Co. Rd. 24, when she attempted to turn left, to go east on the highway. The car went off the road and struck a sign, before coming to rest in a field. She was cited for failure to control.

Dianne M. Galbraith, 60, rural Delta, was driving a car north on Co. Rd. 22, about a half-mile north of Co. Rd. N, when the vehicle struck a deer. She was not injured. The crash occurred about 9:07 pm Monday, Jan. 7.
