Bruce A. Short

Bruce A. Short, age 59, formerly of Archbold, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 9, 2008, at the Southpointe Hospital in Warrensville, Ohio. He had resided at the Warrensville Developmental Center the past five years.

He was born Nov. 24, 1948, at Wauseon, a son of Cornelius and Bessie (Miller) Short, and attended Pettisville School.

He is survived by two brothers, Lynn (Bonnie) Short of Archbold, and Rick (Teresa) Short of Toledo; two sisters, Beverly Short (Reimar Goetzke) of British Columbia, and Julie Short (Dennis Grossman) of Shaker Heights; eight nieces and two nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services were held Monday at Zion Mennonite Church in Archbold with Pastor Mona Sauder officiating. Interment preceded in the Pettisville Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorials be given to Sunshine Home.

Short Funeral Home in Archbold was in charge of the arrangements.
