Car Strikes Fence; Parked Auto Struck

Chris Carden, a resident of the Holland Court apartments, was involved in an accident at 5:35 pm, Sunday, Jan. 6, when van brakes failed.

The Archbold Police report states Carden was driving into a parking space at the apartment complex when the brakes failed. He struck a fence.

A car, driven by William J. Summer, Archbold, was backing from a parking space, turned too sharply, and struck a parked car owned by Ignacio Gutierrez, Jr., Archbold.

The Archbold Police report states the accident occurred Monday, Jan. 7, 10:35 am.
