Snow Irony

The topic was snow in Kris Warner's Archbold Elementary School kindergarten class on Monday, Jan. 7. It seemed ironic, considering the temperature that day zoomed into the 60s. Above left, Noah Garcia shows his hands, which are covered in "snow paint," a mixture of white glue and shaving cream. When the shaving cream dries, it has a puffy, flakey texture that can be likened to snow. Below left, Chase Kohler and Natalie Balderas use their fingers to make snow paintings. At top right, Kayla Boettger shows off her snowman drawing, while Alex Scott, bottom right, displays the paper snowflake he created.- photos by David Pugh
