Crash On Snowy Friday Injures Four Persons

Four persons were taken to the Fulton County Health Center following a three-vehicle accident on US20A near Co. Rd. 20, at about 1:10 pm, Friday, Dec. 28.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol report on the crash states Kantibhai Parshottamdas Patel, 53, Sturgis, Mich., was driving a pickup truck west on US20A, when the vehicle went out of control on the snow-covered roadway.

The Patel pickup crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound sport utility vehicle driven by Julie L. Storrer, 50, rural Wauseon. Passengers in the SUV were Hanna J. Storrer, 16, same address, and Donna Brown, 80, Sebring.

The Storrer SUV went off the south side of the road, where it stopped. A car, driven by Nancy Ray Ayers, 67, rural Wauseon, also was eastbound on US20A, and collided with the Patel truck.

Archbold Rescue responded and transported Patel, the Storrers, and Brown to FCHC.

Hanna Storrer was treated and release at FCHC. Julie Storrer and Patel were admitted, but as of Monday, were no longer patients at FCHC. Further information about their conditions is unavailable.

Brown was transferred via air ambulance to the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, where she was listed in good condition on Monday.

OSHP troopers cited Patel for operating a vehicle without reasonable control.
