Donelda J. Erbskorn

Donelda Erbskorn, 87, of Fayette, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at her residence.

She was born on June 1, 1920, the daughter of Emanuel & Wynona (Delong) Shaffer. Donelda and her first husband, Jake Valentine had four children. She then married Noble Erbskorn in May of 1988, and enjoyed life with him until he died in 2005.

Donelda was a graduate of the Wauseon High School class of 1938. She was a member of the Fayette United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include four children, Doris Valentine of Toledo, Jim (Linda) Valentine of Florida, Linda (John) Zimmerman of Pioneer, and Allan (Julie) Valentine of Archbold; one sister, Dorothy Hibbard of Fayette; seven grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husbands, Jake Valentine and Noble Erbskorn, Donelda was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Doreen, Delphia, and Delilah "Dee"; and two brothers, Dorman and Emanuel.

Arrangements were through the Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette. A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
