Hollis Richer
Hollis Layne Richer, 17, of Wauseon, passed away Monday Dec. 24, 2007 as a result of injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Miss Richer was a senior at Wauseon High School.

Miss Richer was born on May 9, 1990 in Wauseon to Frederick and Hope (Kirby) Richer, and they survive. Through Wauseon High School she was involved with girls basketball, volleyball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, GCF, Jets Club, National Honor Society, and the Spanish Club.

She attended Shiloh Christian Union Church, and was active in the True North Youth Group. Miss Richer was also a member of the Clinton Doodlebugs 4-H Club.

Surviving besides her parents are two sisters, McKalyn and Maddie, both at home; maternal grandparents, Verne and Helen Kirby of Wauseon; paternal grandfather and step-grandmother, Roland and Betty Richer of Wauseon; aunts and uncles, LaVerne (Dave) Geringer of Wauseon, Keith (Becky) Kirby of Springfield, Ohio, Khristie (Robin) Madren of Anchorage, Alas., Kim (Tim) Worosher of Wauseon, Nancy (Norris) Allan of Archbold, Sue (Doug) Stinson of Angola, Ind., and Jeff (Julie) Richer of Wauseon. Also surviving are cousins Brian, Amber, Keely Geringer; Ashley, Kelsey and Kyle Kirby; Kirby, Zack, Kendra and Karley Madren; Tyler, Kara, Tanner and Trevor Worosher; Cindy (Josh) Clark; Scott and Andrea Allan; Dereck, Daniel and Lucas Stinson; and Jared and Jane Richer.

Preceding her in death was her paternal grandmother, Betty Jane Richer.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007 at the Wauseon High School gymnasium with Pastor Chuck Whitmire, Pastor Rex Stump, Pastor Dan Vandock and Pastor John Horning officiating. Interment followed in the Pettisville Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Wauseon High School or Camp Patmos.

The Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon was in charge of arrangements.
