Clara Bostelman, 83, Napoleon, died Monday, Dec. 24, at the Lutheran Home, Napoleon. Survivors include her husband, Melvin E., Napoleon; one daughter, Donna (Dennis) Schlueter, Napoleon; four sons, Ronald (Cheryl) Bostelman, Napoleon, Larry (Linda) Bostelman, Wauseon, Fred (Marolyn) Bostelman, Archbold, and James (Abigail) Bostelman, Napoleon; one brother, Raymond (Harriet) Schroeder, Okolona; two sisters, Viola Helberg, Napoleon, and Mary Ann (Arnold) Rosebrock, Leipsic; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Interment was in the St. Paul Lutheran Church cemetery.

Gaylord W. Parsons, 75, Stryker, died Friday, Dec. 28, 2007, at the Defiance Area Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Defiance. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; three daughters, Mrs. Glenda (Rick) Marzolf, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, Mrs. Sheri (Jeffrey) Lloyd, Oakwood, and Mrs. Janelle (Bruce) Whitlock, Stryker; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Marvelle (Keith) Harris, North Baltimore; and one brother, Dean Parsons, North Baltimore. Interment was in the Stryker Cemetery.

Patrick H. Arend, 79, Archbold, died Saturday, Dec. 29, 2007, at the Archbold Hospital. Survivors include his wife, Juanita; five children, Kay (Howard) Fink, Maumee, Joyce Arend, Portland, Ore., Dan (Mary) Arend, Toledo, Carol Arend and David (Lisa) Arend, Archbold; nine grandchildren; one brother, Meldan Arend, Defiance; and two sisters, Bea (Harold) Grossheim and Clarice Shininger, both of Defiance. Services are Thursday, Jan. 3, 2:30 p.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment follows in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery with military rites by American Legion B.L.W. Post 31. Visitation is today, Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. at the church, with a scripture service at 7 p.m. Short Funeral Home, Archbold, is in charge of the arrangements.
